The WaxVax Story

Hello! My name is Dr. Eric Lang, and I am the inventor of the
WaxVax…the revolutionary new way to safely and effectively clean pet
ears. As with most new products there is a story as to how and why it
came into existence. WaxVax has one, too!

First off, I an NOT a veternarian. I am a medical physician practicing
internal medicine in Florida. I originally developed this device as a way
to remove wax and other debris from the ears of my patients. Why? I
had been seeing a large number of patients who had caused
considerable damage to their ears by using unsuitable objects such as
bobby pins and cotton swabs to clean them.  While these were able to
remove some contents, in most cases more harm than good was the
result. Remember…you usually end up pushing contents farther in the
canal by using these objects!

When pet owners heard about this device they were intrigued. Many
were looking for a safe way to keep the deeper parts of the ear canals
of their dogs and cats clean, but  there was nothing on the market able
to do the job.  I was then asked..what about the WaxVax? Would it work
on pets AND people? Although my invention was developed to work on
humans i
t was found to be quite effective on pets as well. Voila! Now
dog and cat owners have a solution to their problem!

The WaxVax is truly unique in how it works. It has a handheld
component in which a vacuum is transferred from a base unit that
houses all the electronic and mechanical components. The handpiece
is lightweight and ergonomically shaped. A soft electrometric tip fits
securely into the ear as the handpiece trigger is depressed. This
creates a vacuum in the ear which draws out the contents into the tip,
which can then be cleaned or disposed.  Sounds complicated? Not at
all! Difficult to use? DEFINITELY not! Safe? Absolutely!  It should be
noted that the WaxVax is NOT intended to remove deeply impacted ear
canal contents. The amount of vacuum needed to do this would be
unsafe! However..if the WaxVax is used regularly to keep ear canals
clean then the chance of deep wax or debris buildup is virtually zero!

So there you have it. Me, a medical doctor coming up with a solution to
the problem of keeping pet ear canals clean. I still use my original
device on my patients, but I felt that the best commercial application of
this product is for the dog and cat owner.  The WaxVax is currently in
preproduction, and will be available shortly for actual delivery. If you
provide contact info (which will be held in strict confidence and not
divulged to anyone) you will be notified when the product can be
formally ordered and delivered to you at a price of $29.95 (plus
shipping and handling). This is an opportunity for the pet owner to have
a truly unique and useful product before it even gets into the stores (at a
higher price).
